At Majacraft, we make innovative spinning wheels, looms and fibre tools. We aim to build tools that are easy for beginners to use and place no limitations on the creativity of skillful spinners and fibre artists. Majacraft is a small, family owned company based in the North Island of New Zealand.

LOOM N ESSENCE

	Sharon Poplawski as owner and founder of Loom N Essence, I credit my New England upbringing for my love of all things fiber. With both grandfather's in the "Mill Business" it was hard to escape the lure of the spinning wheels and looms. However, it was not until several years later, after selling my business on the West Coast, that I re-visited my love for the Old Craft. Falling back on my basic knowledge for spinning I decided to put my full focus on learning to weave. I signed up for weaving classes and was immediately hooked. I couldn't get enough of them, some I took a second time just so I would not forget what I was doing. Practice, practice, practice and stay open to the creativity and embrace the challenges at hand. Needless to say, it was just a matter of time before Loom N Essence blossomed out of my love for fiber and structure.
