FLYING FIBERS

Jeri Robinson-Lawrence has an MFA in Fine Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In addition to owning Flying Fibers, she is a university professor who teaches a variety of media in the arts including the fiber arts. She has been spinning for over 10 years, knitting for 30+ years, and she is also a proficient dyer, felter, weaver, and crocheter. She is passionate about the fiber arts and finds no greater happiness than when working with wool. Additionally, her family raises rare breed North American Wensleydale Sheep along with Angora Rabbits to raise awareness of these animals in the local community.

Flying Fibers specializes in yarns and fibers from rare breed and locally raised sheep, alpaca, angora rabbit, and angora goats. You will be delighted in our selection of sustainable, fair trade, unusual fibers, yarns and handmade products. We offer private and group classes in hand-spinning, knitting, crochet, and weaving.
