MOONDANCE COLOR COMPANY |
||
Coming from a family of textile designers and artists must have pre-destined me to a lifelong entrancement with fiber. My paternal grandmother taught me to knit and crochet at an early age and my interests in textiles developed from there. I dream in texture and color! |
Moondance Color Company was born of an urge to do something creative after having spent many years as a chemist in university labs. I suppose my love of dyeing results from both my professional and personal backgrounds. I'm often asked how I happened to name my business. I have raised English angora rabbits since the mid-80's and my rabbitry name is Moondance Angoras. When I started my business, my husband suggested I spin off that name, no horrible puns intended. Moondance Color Company is a family-run business. |
