Welcome to the The Legacy Farm Sheep Camp. We only carry Majacraft Spinning Wheels because we consider them the best wheel, after trying many throughout the years. This is what we spin on. and are a full service dealer if you should need a repair, parts, adjustments. or just questions. I have maintained a flock of registered, polled Shetland Sheep for the last 12 years. We are fortunate to have one of the few flocks in the US that have white Shetland sheep. We have 2 types of fleeces only, in our flock which are: very fine crimpy and long primitive. We do not condone double coated fleeces. Our fleeces are very clean and free of debris as 9 months of the year our sheep are on clean pasture. The quality of our fleece is exceptional and I usually spin it in the raw, just flicking some on my knee. We also sell breeding stock in addition to raw fleece.

We now have 2 locations for you to visit.. McGregor IA by the river on Main Street in the McGregorville Mall. Great tourist town with lots of antique shops, artists and western re enactments and things to see and do. . We carry many other spinning, weaving, knitting suppiies, in addition to fine hand wovens. We specialize in restored Antique Sock Knitting Machines and just love the socks we have made from our wool spun on a Majacraft wheel then hand cranked on one of our Antique Sock machines. We are open from May 31 through the 2nd week of Decemeber. Our business hours in McGregor are 10am to 5pm daily 7 days a week. Our business hours on the farm are by appointment or if you drive by just drop in. We love to have visitors so please call us at 641 394 3627. Classes are offered for anything to do with raw fiber to the finished product. Weaving and warping a loom classes are by appointment. CSM aka sock knitting machine lessons are also given here at the farm studio. if anything, just stop by the farm to see our beautiful wee sheep.
